"LLUMC and proton therapy is, in my opinion, the finest, most thorough and comfortable/convenient treatment available for prostate cancer treatment/cure"

I had 7.5 psa and 3+3 gleason. I started treatment 1/23/01 and finished 3/23/01. My follow-ups have been 0.3 and 0.2 for each 6 month review. I'm thoroughly convinced that the proton therapy is the only way to go. I wanted nothing invasive and I didn't like the side effects of all the other therapy's. I've spoken with many men and some civic groups since my experience. There have been a half-dozen men who have since gone to LLUMC. Some are there NOW. LLUMC and proton therapy is, in my opinion, the finest, most thorough and comfortable/convenient treatment available for prostate cancer treatment/cure.

Sincerely,
Dean Naylor

Update June 2008:
All succeeding PSA's have been 0.1 to the end of year 6 and continue annually at that level. Quality of life is "top notch". Just had my 72nd birthday and I'm doing "fine".
